The team at Markets of Africa have more than 20 years’ experience between them spent organising international conferences, business forum and awards ceremonies while being highly successful in commercialising print and online media on the African continent
Markets of Africa creates tailored solutions enabling private companies, public bodies, business organisations and governments to reach their objectives and act according to set policies. We do this by producing and organising bespoke events, organising trade missions, publishing magazines and online news.

Our knowledge base of Africa is extensive and we understand the varying and different realities of each country and region.
Our online activities are carried out under the umbrella of Mercados Africanos where we use our experience and knowledge to carefully examine African businesses, putting the Portuguese-speaking markets in touch with Africa’s best practices and business and investment opportunities, with an emphasis on the Francophone and Anglophone markets.
Our events portfolio is controlled by Markets of Africa Events (MAE) which is our event management team. With a combined experience of more than 20 years, our team are fully skilled when it comes to conceptualisation, production, marketing and sales of live events.
Markets of Africa is the publisher of United Cities and Local Government of Africa (UCLG Africa), new magazine African Cities and its French counterpart Villes d’Afrique. The magazines form the platform for the African debate on urban growth.
